Pro-democracy protesters are back on the streets of Bangkok, Thailand, demanding the release of four activists.

The activists are in custody pending trial on charges of insulting the king, a crime punishable by 15 years in prison.

Protesters have also renewed their demands for the removal of the Prime Minister, rewriting the constitution, and reforming the monarchy.

Protests in Thailand saw a hiatus when the country was hit by a second COVID-19 wave.
