Myanmar security forces faced off with protesters who are against the military takeover in different cities around the country.

With protesters in different cities, they're demanding a reinstatement of the elected government and the release of deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

Mynanmar's military leaders extended their detention of Suu Kyi until February 17th, when she'll likely appear in court.
