President Joe Biden spoke at a CNN town hall Tuesday night and the news organization points out that he made some statements of fact that were incorrect.

One of the errors was about the number of retired people in China. Biden said more people in China were retired than working and wondered how the country would be able to sustain their economic growth with so many retired people.

CNN writes: "It is not even close to true that more people in China are retired than working -- even today, let alone when Biden was vice president and the Chinese workforce was younger."

China had 775 million employed people at the end of 2019, and reported 254 million people 60 or older, CNN writes.

Another error Biden made was saying that of the 11 million undocumented people in the U.S., the vast majority were not Hispanic. The Migration Policy Institute says that in 2018, 73 percent of undocumented people in the U.S. spoke Spanish at home, and 68% were from the Mexico and Central America region, CNN writes.

Biden also criticized Trump for significantly stopping the number of refugees from coming to the U.S. saying that "we used to allow refugees -- 125,000 refugees in the United States in a yearly basis. It was as high as 250,000. Trump cut it to 5,000."

Trump did cut the number of refugee admissions a great deal, but the last time the U.S. allowed 125,000 refugees was in 1992. Barack Obama capped the limit at 85,000 and later at 110,000. Trump capped it at 15,000, CNN reported.
