The Andean Condor is one the world's largest birds. Its wingspan can measure more than three meters long.

It is also one of the world's longest living birds, often surpassing 70 years of age.

But its numbers are dwindling fast and nearing only 100 remain in Colombia.

This week, the country held its first national census of the species.
