U.S. states struggle with winter storm recovery

The extreme weather that has raked the United States for the past week is now blamed in the deaths of at least 31 people, while millions remain without power.

Vaccine distribution in several states is on hold, too.

While one last storm system has moved on, conditions on the ground in the U.S. south remain dire.
