Jewish people across the world are observing Purim, a celebration that commemorates the survival of the Jewish people during the Persian Empire in the 5th century BCE. People usually hold big celebrations and wear costumes to commemorate the celebration.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, festivities were trimmed down, with Israel implementing a curfew to curtail mass gatherings. Still, people spent more time with their families while others found smaller ways to celebrate. Take a look.
