The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed the participation of Latin America women in the labor force back a decade, according to a recent report issued by the UN-backed Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. Venezuela is one of the countries where the pandemic caused many women to lose their jobs, and it has sent them scrambling to find a way to keep their households together.
