Brazil overtakes the U.S. as the country with more daily COVID-19 deaths. And the number of daily cases are still high.

Overall, cases in Brazil surpassed 11 million with close to 270,000 coronavirus deaths. And the number of daily infections is still high with over 70,000 new cases.

That is putting a lot of pressure on the healthcare system.  According to the Brazilian research institute Fiocruz in 15 of Brazil’s largest cities, 90% of ICU beds are occupied.
