Dutch police cracked down on a peaceful anti-lockdown protest taking place in a park across from The Hague on the eve of the country's general election. Riot police were deployed, and water cannons used against people calling for an end to the months-long lockdown.
Police had warned demonstrators to disburse before taking to horseback, pushing the demonstrators out. One man was reportedly arrested for attacking police officers with a stick.
