Taxi drivers in Barcelona are telling UBER to take a hike. The cab hailing app returned to the city after a two years hiatus.
Back in 2019, the regional government imposed limits to UBER and Cabify.
Now, UBER is back in business but with a hybrid model using existing taxi drivers, which created a rift between colleagues.
Drivers are also complaining that UBER is not following the rules by setting fixed prices to the trips. Prices that can change due to demand.
