The government of Mexico recently announced a ban on the importation of genetically modified corn and agricultural productions that use glyphosate.

The Mexican government recently banned GMO yellow corn imports and products using the herbicide Glyfosate. It hopes that policy change will place Mexico on the road to food self-sufficiency.  The ban will drastically decrease yellow corn imports mostly from the United States.
