Florida could be considered ‘ground zero’ for climate change ​in the United States. 

With its 2,000 kilometers of coastline, rising sea levels are an existential threat to the state. 

Flooding in low-lying areas like Miami is already a problem, and that’s spurring a new trend in real estate development that often at the expense of lower-income residents. It’s called ‘climate gentrification.’
