Venezuela’s crumbling healthcare system and the cost of private treatment for COVID-19 patients means many families are scrambling to come up with the money to care for their loved ones.  

The country is facing a second wave of COVID-19, and as the number of patients overwhelms hospitals and clinics, many people see home treatment as the only option.
