U.S. President Biden was spotted at the Las Gemelas Taqueria in Washington D.C. Wednesday, not only picking up lunch for Cinco de Mayo, but to personally deliver news to the owners that their taqueria was the first restaurant to be approved for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund in the country.

They will receive a grant from part of a new $28.6 billion fund authorized in March to help U.S. small businesses run by women, veterans, or people from economically disadvantaged groups.

People in Mexico and The United States are celebrating Cinco de Mayo Wednesday, an annual celebration to mark the Mexican army’s victory over the French forces at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

Many people participate in the holiday in the U.S. by eating Mexican fare and celebrating Mexican-American culture. Viva!
