Muslims around the world marked Eid al-Fitr, the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The celebrations come at a critical time as Israeli and Palestinian tensions have risen dramatically and COVID-19 continues to devastate India.

The date of Eid differs depending on when religious authorities around the world sight the new moon.
