The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued new rules for vaccinated Americans about wearing masks, but the latest update has confused many. 

Here's a look at what the new rules will mean for people in the U.S. who are vaccinated and unvaccinated.

Currently 157 million Americans have gotten at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, about 47.3 percent of the total population.
