Violent crime and corruption remain the norm in Honduras, and it’s part of daily life. 

The situation is so bad that tens of thousands of Hondurans prefer to flee their nation. 

This November, voters in the Central American country have a chance to bring about change. 

But as CGTN’s Franc Contreras reports, optimism is running low.
