George Floyd, an unarmed Black man was murdered by ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, one year ago today.

As his family and Black Lives Matter supporters and activists honor the anniversary of his death, many are demanding more change needs to come.

Floyd's family and many in U.S. Congress support the passage of the George Floyd Policing Act but the bill is currently stuck in the U.S. Senate.

With his family in Washington, D.C. advocating for the bill, others are marching around the U.S. and the world for police accountability and action within their communities.
