At least 10 people were killed Friday in the city of Cali, Colombia amid the continuing anti-government protests, authorities said Saturday.
President Ivan Duque announced Friday he was deploying troops to Cali after a month of demonstrations against his government around the country.
Cali has become the epicenter of the protest movement seeking government action to tackle poverty, police violence and inequalities in health and education systems.
