Cyber attacks for ransom

Brazil-based JBS, the world’s largest meat supplier, is now confirming it paid the equivalent of $11 million in ransom to computer hackers who recently targeted the company. 

The cybersecurity attack temporarily shut down ​JBS facilities in North America, Canada and Australia.
