Floridians are feeling the pinch as rent, gas and food prices are increasing and more is coming. 

Florida’s largest utility company is proposing an 18 percent base increase to electricity bills by 2025. 

Community activists are against it, they believe this is not the time for another hike for lower- and middle-income households that have barely recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
