As climate change brings in warmer temperatures, droughts and more fires, the U.S. West Coast is facing record setting weather changes. 

Last year, 200-thousand acres burned and two people died in Colorado's East Troublesome fire.

Not just Colorado, but other western states are seeing deadlier fires, and in some cases, burned trees aren’t growing back.

CGTN's Sean Callebs is in Colorado to see how forestry officials are trying to help the land.
