Undocumented migrants in Belgium are on a hunger strike.

Hundreds around Brussels are participating in the strike.

They're demanding recognition and an official status.

Some are sewing their lips together in protest.

Because they are undocumented, they don't have access to proper healthcare or other benefits Belgian residents receive.

They say they haven't eaten since May 23, according to Euronews.
