Kazakhstan joined around 90 other UN countries in supporting China's human right's record in Hong Kong SAR, Xinjiang, and Tibet. Kazakhstan said it believes China continues to uphold its commitment to the 'one country, two systems’ formula adopted for Hong Kong. The statement came as some Western countries accuse China of committing human rights abuses.
