Nearly 24 hours after the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse, four suspected "mercenaries" are dead and six have been arrested according to authorities.

With the border entry into the Dominican Republic closed and a two-week state of emergency, officials are looking for more suspected members of the hit squad.

Prime Minister Claude Joseph will lead the nation until an election is held and they’re expected to take place later this year.
