A report released this week by the United Nations, the European Union and the World Bank finds that the socioeconomic status of people in the Gaza Strip have been severely weakened following the 11-day Israeli offense in May.

At least 260 Palestinians, including 66 children were killed in the offensive. Thirteen Israelis were killed by rockets from Palestinian militants, including two children.
