After several months of encouraging news, cases of COVID-19 are on the increase in the U.S. and the Delta variant of the coronavirus is primarily to blame.

The Delta variant now makes up a majority of new cases, particularly in states with relatively low vaccination rates. CGTN’s Hendrik Sybrandy reports.
