This fire season in the United States is shaping up to be catastrophic.

It is an anxious time in Colorado. The state is still coming to grips with the worst wildfires in the state's history – which swept through Colorado last year.

With global temperatures spiking, and as more and more people build on the fringe of forests, they are finding out the hard way there can be a price to pay for where they live.
