More people choose natural burial in the U.S.
Jim Spellman

There is one inevitable in life: death. We will all die. A conventional burial or cremation can have a significant impact on the environment.

Cremation emits about as much carbon as an 800 kilometer car ride.

Conventional burial with a casket, concrete vault, headstone and chemical embalming leaves an even bigger carbon footprint.

Now more people are turning to natural burial - a way of helping the planet as a final act on earth.
