Dozens of pigs drown in China floods

This farmer told Reuters he lost over 100 pigs to floods and that he's worried about his livelihood. 63 people died from floods in China’s central Henan Province last week from record-breaking rains. China carried out an all-out effort to save residents, evacuating over 100,000 ands saving countless more. Henan is one of China’s most important pork production regions.

Efforts are now being directed at curbing any post-flooding diseases from spreading among the remaining pigs.
