Top Republican politicians in the U.S. are calling on more Americans to get vaccinated against COVID-19, as the highly contagious Delta variant pushes up case numbers once again.

Four of the five least-vaccinated states have Republican governors. But the anti-vaccination community in the U.S. is driven by more than party politics.
