A Palestinian demonstrator was shot dead by Israeli forces during protests following the killing of a 12-year-old boy by the IDF, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. The demonstrations, which turned violent, were held near the Israeli-occupied city of Hebron.

Heavily armed Israeli forces reportedly entered the town and began firing stun grenades and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinians in the funeral procession. Palestinians reportedly threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the soldiers.

Palestinians living under illegal Israeli occupation say they want Israeli forces to leave their lands, stop building illegal settlements, the freedom to travel, and other basic human rights.
