U.S. lawmakers from several states gathered in Washington D.C. to urge the Senate pass a bill aimed at ensuring voter’s rights. The 'For The People Act' would counter a Republican push to add voting restrictions. Republicans say the measures are aimed at curbing election fraud.

Representatives from Arizona, Delaware, Georgia, Montana, and other states called on the Democratic leadership to pause the planned August recess, while leaning on Biden to use his "power and influence" to get the bill through.
