The latest wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the United States has been called “a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” 

The vast majority of people in hospitals and dying of COVID-19 are unvaccinated. 

Mask mandates have returned to many parts of the U.S. to protect children, the immunocompromised and the unvaccinated. 

That has caused a lot of resentment among vaccinated Americans.
