The opioid epidemic continues to ravage America, and it appears to have only gotten worse during the pandemic. 

A record number of people died last year of drug overdoses. 

A new $26 billion deal with drug manufacturers is meant to help address this public health crisis, but how much of a dent can it make in the problem?
