The death toll from Saturday's magnitude-7.2 earthquake in Haiti reached 1,941 on Tuesday as search and rescue efforts continue.
Over 9,900 injured people are crowding into hospitals and makeshift camps are sheltering those who lost their homes.
Rescuers continue to use heavy equipment and their bare hands to hunt for survivors in the thousands of buildings that toppled.
