Category 3 Hurricane Grace hit the Mexican Gulf coast early Saturday, the second time it impacted the country in two days. Officials said at least eight people are dead.

On Thursday the storm impacted the Yucatan Peninsula and then gained strength in the Gulf of Mexico before hitting the Veracruz area on the east coast of Mexico Saturday.

Eight people died as a result of mudslides caused by flooding, including some children. Three people are still missing.

Buildings and homes were destroyed and about 330,000 people lost power in the storm.
