How the USMCA trade deal affects Mexico's economy

The new era of North American free trade, under the renegotiated USMCA deal by the Trump administration, is now more than a year old.

The signing of the three-country trade pact last year was cause for celebration in Mexico. And after more than a year of free trade and the economic damage from the coronavirus pandemic, the agreement has been a lifeline for this country's economy.
