The U.S. has carried out a drone attack in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province, a day after an attack outside Kabul’s airport.

CGTN’s reporter visited there and found that most of the villagers were still hiding in their homes to avoid the air strikes by the U.S.

Local residents told us that the deceased was accused by the U.S. as an extremist.  They say he was not involved in any military activities or had any connection with extremist organizations.

However, the U.S. military declared in a statement issued on the 28th that there were no reports of civilian casualties in this operation.

Meanwhile, Taliban accused the United States of infringing on Afghan territories and violating previously signed peace agreements.
