A group of several hundred asylum seekers are headed to Mexico City, in protest of the the nation's slow asylum process.

Local news reports migrants in Southern Mexico have been protesting the slow process, which is keeping them from being able to relocate without risking deportation.

Those headed to the capital hope their asylum proceedings will be expedited.
