In the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, thousands in Louisiana remain without power and many are waiting in hours-long lines for gasoline.

The state's largest energy company has restored electricity to some people in New Orleans but they say it could be days before more have full power again.

Homes have been ripped apart and neighborhoods are flooded, as people in the region begin the cleanup process.
