Following the hasty U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, the fate of millions of Afghans now living under Taliban’s rule remains far from certain.

U.S. President Joe Biden vowed to hold the Taliban accountable to its promise to provide a safe passage for Afghans wanting to leave the county. But for many Afghan families, it is still not clear when and how.
