The United Nations is warning that the world is at a tipping point in the fight against climate change. 

The issue is taking center stage at this year's General Assembly, where governments and leaders from the private sector are expected to renew commitments to tackling greenhouse gas emissions ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference, COP26, taking place later this year. 

Experts also say addressing climate change could be key to preventing future pandemics.
