It’s been seven years since the disappearance of 43 students in the southwestern town of Iguala, Mexico.

Demonstrators marched in Mexico City in their memory, and to demand justice and answers.  The students, from a teacher’s college in the state of Guerrero, disappeared after traveling by bus to Mexico city on September 26, 2014 for a demonstration.

The Mexican government said the student teachers were apprehended by corrupt police and handed over to a crime syndicate.  A panel of international experts doubted that version of events, but families of the missing are still seeking answers and justice.

So far only two remains of the missing have been found and identified.
