After a months’ long review of U.S. trade policy with China, U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai says discussions will resume with Chinese officials. 

In remarks to a Washington think tank, Ambassador Tai said China is not fully compliant with a Phase One trade agreement signed in January 2020 under the Trump administration. Chinese officials say Beijing has been implementing the agreement “faithfully.”
