The clean-up effort continues near the coast of Southern California after the weekend’s oil spill, when a pipeline spewed over 126,000 gallons of crude oil onto the coast of Huntington Beach.

Evidence emerged Tuesday that a ship’s anchor caught and dragged the underwater pipeline that ruptured, an accident that the U.S. Coast Guard acknowledged it didn’t investigate for 10 hours after the first calls of the possible leak.
