The pandemic has prevented elite athletes from competing abroad for safety reasons.

But two medal hopefuls in snowboarding are maintaining their edge at the Shanghai training and sports science center of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). 

The UFC is a U.S.-based mixed martial arts event.
