After a 30-month absence, the 125th Boston Marathon returned, though with a smaller and socially distanced race.
Kenyans Benson Kipruto and Diana Kipyogei won the men’s and women’s elite races, the eighth time since 2000. Marcel Hug and Manuela Schär, both from Switzerland, won the men’s and women’s wheelchair races.
