Colombia is known worldwide for its coffee exports. It is the second largest producer in Latin America, after Brazil.

In 2019, nearly 10 percent of the world's coffee production came from Colombia. It proudly exports the best of the best.

But some experts say the really good coffee gets exported. What's left is a lower-grade coffee, and is even getting worse.

Colombia's National Coffee Federation wants to change that.
