Climate change, water shortages, pollution, and upstream damming are threatening the lives and livelihoods of the Marsh Arabs in Iraq. 

The local wetlands are struggling with the cataclysmic changes affecting the region. Thousands have been displaced, while others struggle to look for work in the cities.  Here are the people who have been affected.
